How it works

Every product graded on the same 6-dimension rubric

Vyvata scores each supplement, wearable, and diagnostic product 0-100 across six honest quality dimensions — the rubric is public and applied uniformly. No pay-to-play. No brand-submission bias. Rejected products stay listed with real explanations. See who really owns each brand.

Step 01

Every product gets pulled in

We import products across supplements, wearables, and diagnostics — including brands that would rather we didn't. Rejected products stay listed with honest reasoning, not hidden away. There's no submission process. No brand pays to be included or excluded.

Step 02

Scored 0-100 across 6 dimensions

Each product is evaluated against a public 6-dimension rubric: evidence, formulation, manufacturing, safety, transparency, sustainability. The final 0-100 score maps to a tier — Elite, Verified, Standard, or Rejected. Same rubric applied to every product from every brand.

Step 03

You see honest rankings + real evidence

Rankings, comparisons, and product pages surface the score alongside the full per-dimension breakdown, the evidence sources cited, autofail rules where applicable (like unverified disease claims), and honest explanations. Buyers get the same data quality that clinical formulators use.

Common questions

What people ask before trusting a supplement scoring platform

Honest answers to the questions that matter. If yours isn't here, our full methodology and extended FAQ cover more depth.

What actually is the Vyvata score?

A 0-100 integrity score for every supplement, wearable, and diagnostic in our catalog. It's calculated across six independent dimensions — evidence, formulation, manufacturing, safety, transparency, and sustainability — and mapped to a tier (Elite 85-100, Verified 70-84, Standard 55-69, Rejected below 55). The rubric is published on our methodology page and applied uniformly. No pay-to-play, no brand-submission bias.

Do brands pay to be scored higher?

No. Vyvata does not accept payment, sponsorship, or advertising fees from any brand in exchange for scoring position or inclusion. Products are scored against the same public rubric regardless of vendor. Some brands score Elite; others score Rejected — and Rejected products stay listed with honest explanations, not hidden. That transparency is the point.

How is this different from Consumer Reports or Labdoor?

Consumer Reports and Labdoor both do valuable lab-testing work — but their coverage is narrow (dozens of products in a category, not thousands) and paywalled. Vyvata is public, catalog-scale (2,000+ scored), and covers the full six-dimension rubric including evidence quality and manufacturing transparency, not just lab purity. We're a scoring rubric applied at catalog scale; they're batch lab testing.

Why do you list products that score in the Rejected tier?

Because hiding them would be dishonest. A 2000+ product catalog with only high-scoring products isn't a rubric — it's a curated recommendation list dressed up as objectivity. Rejected products stay listed with explicit auto-fail rules (e.g., unverified_medical_claim, proprietary_blend_hides_dose) and honest explanations so buyers understand exactly why the product falls short. That's the transparency-first policy.

How do I find products for my specific goal?

Two entry points depending on how you prefer to shop. Use Find Your Protocol if you want a personalized stack based on your goals (weight loss, cognitive performance, sleep, longevity, etc.) — it's a free 3-minute quiz that returns a real ranked protocol. Or use Search Scores to browse individual products with full VSF breakdowns. Both surfaces score everything against the same rubric.

Does Vyvata sell supplements or just review them?

Both, transparently. Vyvata operates as an evidence-first storefront — you can buy scored products directly through the site, and every product page shows the full VSF score and dimension breakdown. Our revenue comes from product sales, not brand fees or ad placements. Because scores are applied uniformly, the highest-scoring products naturally rise; brands that score poorly stay listed with honest scoring but rarely convert. That's the honest model.

Who really owns the supplement brands I recognize?

Not who you probably think. Nestlé Health Science owns Pure Encapsulations, Garden of Life, Vital Proteins, Nature's Bounty, Solgar, Douglas Laboratories, and more. Procter & Gamble just paid $3.8 billion for Thorne (August 2026), joining New Chapter. Otsuka Pharmaceutical (Japan) owns Nature Made + MegaFood. Our full brand ownership transparency page maps 42 brands to their real corporate parents with primary-source citations.

How often is the catalog + scores updated?

Continuously as new products are added and quarterly for existing scores when new evidence emerges. Every product page shows the vsf_scored_at date. When we ship a category refresh (e.g., berberine, CoQ10, NAD+), the ranking pages and comparison pages regenerate automatically. Major changes — like a new autofail rule or a rubric update — trigger a full recategory rescore and are documented in the methodology page.
